Wajid Pirzada is the 4^th son of Muhammad Mukhtar Pirzada and got married in 1982 to a Chinese girl named Qili (1960 – alive – graduated from Beijing University – adopted Islam and assumed Islamic name as Hina Wajid – presently living in Biejing). They had no offspring.

Qualification & Career:

• BSc (Statistics & Math) in 1976 from Govt College, Lahore.
• Received 5 years’ scholarship in 1977 from the Govt of China.
• Certificate of Technical Chinese Language in 1978 from Beijing Linguistic Institute of China.
• Graduation in Pedagogy (Sports administration) in 1982 from Beijing Sports University, China.
• MBA (Marketing & Entrepreneurship) Rensselaer (RPI) Troy, New York (USA) in 1992.
• Being a Double Graduate & the Post Graduate (MBA), he has completed his 18 Grades (M Phil) and is now pursuing his PhD.
• Medford International Ltd Beijing, China as Sales & Marketing Executives. (1982 to 1984).
• BCCI Hong Kong (International Banking officer) (1984 to 1986) and also handled the affairs as Representative of BCCI, China Division, Far-East Regional Office, Hong Kong.
• Gulf International Group, Marco Trade SA, Swiss Multinational’s Beijing Liaison office (Chief Representative, Int’l Trading & Shipping) (1986 to 1991).
• US Composite & Inter-Science Inc New York, USA as Marketing Consultant (1992).
• Grand Vision Petroleum group Ltd. Hong Kong as Director Sales & Marketing (1993 to 1994).
• Nobel House Trading Company, Beijing Office as Chief Representative (1994 to 1996).
• Atlantic Corporation, Beijing Liaison Office as Chief Representative (1996 to 2008).
• Fecto Group of Industries, Islamabad Office as Business Development Manager for China and Middle East (2010 to 2011).

Sports activities in China:

• Member of Beijing International Cricket Club consists of diplomats, business men and students.
• Organized annual Sports activities in China amid foreign residents.
• Achieved internationally recognized status of Player & Coach of Table Tennis in China.
• General Secretary, foreign students’ federation in China.

Countries of Residence:

Resided in China for more than twenty years while more than two years in Hong Kong & USA. Resided for a period of 6 months or less in Soviet Union, Japan, England, Philippines, Thailand and UAE

He extensively travelled to countries ie Holland, Poland, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Taiwan, Macao, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Tanzania, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and South Korea etc.

Social Welfare:

In order to work for social welfare sector, Micro financing and to contribute for deserving people in suburban areas of Islamabad (including Saidpur Model Village) and a few Northern Areas, he joined ‘Aasra Trust’ in 2011.

Literature Work:

A regular and an important member of a literary organization “Hareem-e-Asar”, which deal in literary work being done by the family members.
