Brief about phylogenetic Mapping of Shaikh Ahmad Ghous & his Descendents

Prophet Ibrahim (AS) , the ancestor of Holy Prophet (PBUH) …… His elder son Hazrat Ismail (AS)……From his descendents a tribe named ‘Khizraj‘……… A prominent person from this tribe and Head of Religious Scholars named ‘Shamool’……… His 21st descendent ‘Abu Ayub Ansari‘ from ‘Banu Najjaar‘, (Sub-clan of ‘Khizraj’)……His 10th descendent ‘Khwaja Ahdad Ansari, (the elder brother of ‘Khwaja Abdullah Ansari Harvi‘)……His 7th descendent ‘Shaikh Ibrahim Soharwardi Danishmand – 1‘ Mastoi, (North Waziristan)……… His 8th descendent‘Shaikh Ba-Yazeed-1 aliace Shahbaz Parind’ Kaniguram, (South Waziristan)……… His Son ‘Shah Ibrahim Danishmand – 2’ Dhaka, Bangal, (Present Bangla Desh)………. And  Grand Son ‘Shaikh Ahmad Ghous‘ Jalandhar, (India).

Shaikh Ahmad Ghous arrived in Lahore (India) via Hirat (Afghanistan) accompanying his familial compound, along with Emperor Humayun in 1555 AD…. (He moved to Jalandhar after a short period but few of his family members chose to settle at Lahore. However in 1760 AD, after 205 years, they too decided to join their tribe and moved back to Jalandhar, India) ….His 9th descendent ‘Mian Muhammad Azam’ & his off springs gained great fame & respect in worldly, religious / spiritual knowledge at Jalandhar. There were about 1500 menu-scripts in their family library at the time of division of India in 1947.
