Syed Deewan Ali Kazmi was the son of Mst Husan Bano (First sister of Pirzada Ghulam Qadir Asar & the daughter of Muhammadi Shah / got married to Syed Abdul Kareem Kazmi Ambalvi / died in 1950).  Deewan Ali Kazmi was married in 1930 to Shameela Begum (1907 – 1986 = daughter of Syed Muhammad Taqi = buried in Ichhra graveyard). He was blessed with two daughters (Tehseen & Nasreen) and three sons (Hassan, Matahir and Hasnain).

Qualifications & Career:

  • He was employed in Pakistan Railways and worked as Deputy Chief Controller while retired as DTO (Divisional Traffic Officer) in Multan.
  • An exceptional thing is that he participated in 1st world war at a very young age and fought for 3 years on Baghdad (Iraq) land. Returned as “Ghazi” and received a lot of appreciation alongwith “Certificate of War Participant”.

About the prominent Offspring;

Out of his 3 sons/ 2 daughters, the eldest son Hasan Hyder Kazmi (pictured above) proved to be a laudable personality in pursuing his proffesional career.


 

Syed Hasan Hyder Kazmi: (1932 – Alive)

Syed Hasan Hyder Kazmi is the eldest son of Syed Deewan Ali Kazmi and got married in 1965 to Asifa Pirzada  (1937 – 2011 – youngest daughter of Pirzada Abdul Hameed – buried in Lahore-Ichhra graveyard). He is blessed with 3 daughters (Rubaab, Izza & Aqsa) and a son (Yasir).

Qualifications & Career:

  • FSc in 1952 from Emerson College, Multan.
  • Acquired degree of DHMS (Homeopathic Doctor) in 1967.
  • Joined Pakistan Railway, as Stores Officer in 1953 while served till 1959.
  • Joined Gammon Pakistan as Stores Manager in 1959 while served till 1961.
  • Joined WAPDA as Warehouse Foreman in 1961 while served till 1983.
  • Joined US-Aid Program, as Deputy Director (Inventory Control-Store Officer and served from 1983 to 1995.
  • He was regarded as a very honest officer, as one could be and got acknowledged with appreciations from the workplaces wherever he served.

 

About the prominent Offspring;

Yasser Kazmi (pictured below) proved to be an outstanding in his career he did his LLB (Hons) in Int’l Business Law from University of Derby and also completed his LLM (Commercial Law) from the same University. He is an Advocate High Court, Derby & at present Legal Advisor Immigration, Advisory Services, Ireland, UK.


Syed Mutahir Kazmi: (1937 – 1988)
(Buried in Sakhee Hasan Graveyard, Nazimabad, Karachi)

He was the 2nd son of S Deewaan Ali Kazmi, married to Naazira (1945-2005 – buried in Sakhee Hasan graveyard, Nazimabad, Karachi).  He is blessed with a daughter (Wafa) and 2 sons (Muqeet & Abbas).

Qualifications & Career:

  • MA (History) from Peshawar University.
  • Taught as English Professor in Algeria for 17 years.
  • Established/managed a Private School in Lahore, which could not flourished during the period of few years and had to be closed.
  • Opted to Teach English Literature till last privately.

 

About the prominent Offspring;

Muqeet Kazmi (pictured below) proved to be outstanding amongst them. He is a senior Pharmacist who studied from Karachi University/IBA, Karachi. At present he is Head QA at Novartis Pharma, Karachi.

 


Syed Hasnain Kazmi: (1944 – 1993)
(Buried in Dhok Khabba Graveyard, Rawalpindi)

He was the 3rd son of S. Deewaan Kazmi who got married to Naseem   (1949-1988 – buried in Rawalpindi graveyard). After her death he again  married to Fareeda (1964-alive) as his 2nd wife. He was blessed with 2 daughters (Ammara & Raqia) and 3 sons (Ammar, Awais & Ali) while Ammar died in a road accident in 1988 unfortunately.

Qualifications & Career:

  • MA (Political Science) from Punjab University.
  • Served as Superintendent Jails in different Cities but was Forced to retire in 1984 after the “sipah-e-sahaba Jail incident – 1982” in Rajanpur, DG Khan.
  • Died in 1993 after few years’ illness.

 

About the prominent Offspring;

Awais Kazmi is the prominent and completing his Graduation from Rawalpindi, he is migrated to Australia and doing ………???
