Pirzada Ghulam Sarwar : (14.04.1899 – 04.09.1957)

Pirzada Ghulam Sarwar was the 3rd son of Hakeem Ghulam Qadir Asar and was married to Muhammadi Begum (1906-1986 – daughter of Moulvi Ali Ahmad – lady from his own family). He was blessed with three daughters (Zubaida, Tahira and Zahida) and a son (Anwar).

He was the most learned person in the family and left Law Practice because of the reason to avoid falsehood at occasions and he preferred to lead a moderate life by settling in small Towns/Cities. Most of the family members lived long but he died at the age of 57 years.

The effect of family interest in literature can be seen, as he wrote “Qita-e-Taareekh-e-Inteba” (1924 AD / 1342 Hij) in Persian, when his father’s composition of Poetry (Deewan-e-Asar) was published. It is given here under:

About the Grave;

The verse of Allama Iqbal is written on his grave;

ہزاروں سال نرگس اپنی بے نوری پہ روتی ہے

بڑی مشکل سے ہوتا ہے چمن میں دیدہ وَر پیدا

About the prominent Offpring;

His son Muhammad Anwar (pictured below) is the only one (unlike all other Pirzadas – after 1870 AD), who opted for the religious studies, along with his bank career in the managerial job.
