Muhammad Anwar Pirzada : (02.10.1930 – 06.02.2012)

Muhammad Anwar was the only son of Pirzada Ghulam Sarwar Ansaar Danishmand and got married to Sughra Khanum (1930 – 2014 – the daughter of Mirza Inaayat ullah – buried in Miani Saheb Graveyard, Lahore). He had a daughter (Zaib-ul-Nisa) and   3 sons (Aurangzeb, Rizwan & Rehaan).

Qualifications & Career: 

  • Matriculation in 1945 from Govt High School Sialkot.
  • Intermediate in 1948 from Gordon College Rawalpindi.
  • Acquired Degree of Dars-e-Nizami (equivalent to Master’s Degree-religious higher studies) in 1955 from “Madrisa Maulana Ghulam Ullah”, Rawalpindi.
  • Started teaching Arabic/Persian in a School at DaudKhel (1956 to 1962).
  • Started banking career in MCB in 1962. With his devotion and hard work he rose upto senior officer (Grade-I) and had served different branches as Manager in Azad Kashmir.
  • He retired from his job in 1990.

 

HAJ:  Muhammad Anwar performed Haj by ship in 1969. He is the first, out of 31 cousin brothers who considered this religious duty on priority.

 

Extra Abilities:

  • He translated Quran and wrote in his own hand writing (copy available), while the sample pages are reflected below:

  • He had been a devoted worker for “Tableeghi Jamaat” and devoted his life for Tableegh (Preaching of Islam) after his retirement from Bank.
  • He often gave ‘Friday Sermon’ in Jamia Mosque in Mangla (AK).
  • He was a real ‘Ameen’ and held amanah of relatives worth trust. For example; many women, wives, sisters (in the family too) could not trust their husbands and brothers but used to keep their money and precious things with Haji Saheb (as they used to call him with respect).
  • He had hundreds of books in his library on different topics; religious and other as well. The books were donated to local Mosque & Madrisa after his death by the family members.

 

About the prominent Offspring;

 

 

pirzada Aurang Zeb-2  (pictured below) proved to be the prominent & a career oriented son. He served Pakistan Army (Engineers) for about 12 years while resigned commission at the rank of Major and migrated to England for higher studies (Civil Engg & Mngmt).

He is Double Graduate and holder of two Master Degrees from the prestigious universities of Pakistan/Abroad. His overseas assignment includes senior positions in Local Govt Deptts while is presently serving as an adviser on traffic infrastructure affairs to Qatar Works Authority. He frequently writes in technical/journals and is also a fellow of Institution of Highways & Transport (UK).
