Iffat (Pirzada) Nagi: (1937 – 6th July 2021)

Iffat Pirzada was the eldest daughter of Pirzada Ameer Hasan and got married in 1967 to M Anees Nagi (1935 – 2011 – PCS Officer by profession – famous poet & writer of many books – had been a lecturer in different colleges including Govt College Lahore).  She was blessed with a daughter (Komal) and a son (Danial).

Qualification & Career:

• Graduation in 1959 from Lahore College for Women, Lahore.
• Done her BEd in 1965 from Punjab University, Lahore.
• MA (Urdu Literature) in 1961 from Punjab University (Oriental College) Lahore.
• Joined as Lecturer in 1962 at Sadiq Public College, Bahawalpur.
• After her marriage she established/managed a high school for many years in Lahore (Krishan Nagar).
• In the last few years she enjoyed a retired life and did some social and literary work.
• She always kept her in touch with all family members/groups.

About the prominent Offspring;

Daniyal Nagi (pictured below) proved to be the prominent. Educated at St Anthony High School, Government College & Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore, got qualified as MBBS, DTCD, MCPS, MRCP (Ireland), FRCP (Ireland), FRCP (Glasgow).He also qualified the CSS Examination in 1994 and was placed in the Pakistan Audit & Accts Service which he did not continue.He is specialized in  Internal Medicine & Gastroenterology with extensive experience of General Internal & Acute Medicine.Presently working as Consultant Physician in Ireland.
