Dr Nasreen (Pirzada) Ijaz: (1941 – 14th July 2020)

Dr Nasreen Ijaz was the youngest daughter of Abdul Rasheed Pirzada and got married in 1966 to Hussain Ahmed Ijaz Malik (1926 – 2019 – Lt Col (retired) from 2 PMA Long Course – worked as Deputy Director in ASF, Islamabad for few years after his retirement). She was blessed with three daughters (Sara, Sameera & Hamna) and a son (Ahmed).

Qualifications & Career:

• FSc from Quetta Girls College (with flying colors as stood first in the College) and was awarded scholarship.
• MBBS from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore.
• Served as Medical Officer CMH, Lahore from 1968 to 1970.
• Served Federal Govt Poly Clinic Hospital, Islamabad, as Medical Officer from 1978 to 2000 while retired as Senior Family Physician.
• Presently she is living retired life as contented and is attending Al-Huda Lectures regularly (Ma sha Allah).

About the prominent Offspring;

Ahmed Ijaz Malik (pictured below) proved to be brilliant and completed PhD (IR) and is presently serving as Associate Professor in Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad while his sister Sameera (pictured below) has also completed her PhD (Marketing).
